Compounding Pharmacist William Soderlund, Sr.
William Soderlund, Sr. was born in 1937 and grew up in North Minneapolis. Bill graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Pharmacy in 1960 then did a stint in the U.S. Army as a hospital pharmacist.

Bill Soderlund then went to work for the fledgling Target pharmacy, which had only 2 or 3 pharmacies at the time. Bill opened several pharmacies for Target then ended up managing the Target pharmacy in Fridley, Minnesota. Bill Soderlund worked for Target pharmacy for 17 years.
In 1980 Bill Soderlund bought "Village Drug" in Northfield, Minnesota.

Bill Soderlund became a compounding pharmacist and specialized in Hormone Replacement Therapy compounding, (NHRT compounding), and veterinary medicine compounding. In 1997 Bill sold his store and retired.

Bill, Sr. has two sons that followed in his foot-steps and became pharmacists... Bill Soderlund, Jr. and Pat Soderlund.
